Covert Press is a DIY effort that rose out of the punk movement that tries to combine the ethics of
punk and poetry. Our goal is to publish the best artists out there in the underground poetry scene that
are ignored by mainstream America. We do not accept submissions. We have an open contest every April that
is free to all. We not only publish the winner but we choose what other manuscripts to publish throughout
the year from there. We might just see someone that we know must be published and do it. That has been the way things work up till now and we're pretty happy with it.
